Senior Recruiter is responsible for Service Excellence throughout the recruitment cycle.
Acts as a brand ambassador for the client and partners with hiring managers in a consultative capacity.
Focused on delivering top talent for hiring managers, providing proactive and timely communication on the status of the search.
Expected to stay abreast of industry and market-specific information or trends.
Acts as a mentor to Recruiters and other team members.
Demonstrates innovation and outside-the-box thinking with search techniques.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Detailed job scope conversation with hiring leader to determine position specifications.
- Timely review of applicants via the applicant tracking system.
- Build and deploy effective recruitment marketing campaigns.
- Source candidates via resume databases, networking sites (sophisticated Boolean search).
- Source candidates via social media and deep web sourcing techniques.
- Generate targeted lists of passive candidates.
- Solicit and pursue referrals.
- Utilize proprietary software for mobile and email campaigning.
- Connect with talent community (phone, email, campaigning, network introductions, social media).
- Provide value propositions tailored to each candidate.
- Prepare candidates for interviews (logistical information, schedule, attire).
- Ensure timely updates concerning the status of applications and interviews.
- Monitor candidate interest and concerns.
- Conduct professional phone interviews with industry/role-specific probing questions.
- Navigate difficult conversations.
- Compare candidate notes and skills assessments with requisition specifications.
- Apply consideration for candidate fit to team and culture.
- Issue skills testing and evaluate results (if needed).
- Review background and reference information (if needed).
- Keep candidates engaged throughout process.
- Build talent pipeline with multiple candidates.
- Keep hiring manager informed of market changes.
- Articulate and drive job offer acceptance.
- Partner with hiring manager to ensure offer acceptance.
- Adherence to all regulations (OFCCP and compliance).
- Demonstrate segment/practice/industry expertise.
- Deliver strong candidate slate for each requisition.
- Provide accurate and regular reporting.
- Identify search difficulties and research solutions.
- Proactively communicate search status to hiring manager.
- Other duties as assigned.
Position Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in business, management, HR or related field.
- Equivalent experience considered.
- Minimum 5+ years results-oriented recruiting experience (in-house, RPO, or agency setting).
- Ability to showcase niche segment or industry expertise.
- Employ technologies for efficiency in the recruiting process.
- Adhere to documentation and processes for compliance.
- Experience with deep web sourcing techniques.
Compensation: $59,000 - $100,000 (dependent on experience, geography, and industry knowledge).
Benefits: Annual bonus based on goals, medical, dental, vision, STD, LTD, HSA, holiday pay, flex PTO, 401k with 50% match up to 4%, VTO.
