Full-Time Senior Product Manager, Interoperability

Abacus Insights is a mission-driven technology company focused on transforming the healthcare data industry, ultimately creating a more personalized patient experience, improving health outcomes, and lowering the overall cost of healthcare.

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Product Manager to drive forward strategic Abacus product development.

Initial Focus: CMS-9115 / CMS-0057 product suite, expanding to other payer needs.

Responsibilities:

• Drive product strategy, development, and execution.
• Ensure smooth integration of upstream EMPI/MDM solutions.
• Own the product roadmap and prioritize features.
• Ensure product backlog is ready for development.
• Be the voice of the customer through regular client engagement.
• Understand key Abacus technologies and partner with engineering.
• Collaborate with engineering, delivery, support, sales, and marketing.
• Conduct market research and analysis.
• Engage with clients and stakeholders to gather feedback.
• Provide updates to Executive Leadership.
• Partner with client enablement on documentation.
• Collaborate with product marketing.
• Provide mentorship and guidance to junior team members.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in relevant field.
• Minimum 8 years of product management experience in US healthcare interoperability.
• Experience with CMS mandates 9115 and 0057.
• Experience with EMPI/MDM workflows.
• Proven track record of launching cloud-native products.
• Strong technical background (Databricks, Snowflake, AWS, Azure).
• Ability to work with engineering teams.
• Experience working with international teams (India/Nepal preferred).
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Experience with Agile and Scrum methodologies.
• Strong client acumen.
• Strong project management skills.
• Proactive and results-oriented.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

• Experience working at a healthcare payer.
• GenAI product development experience.
