Senior Recruiter is responsible for Service Excellence throughout the recruitment cycle. Acts as a brand ambassador for their client and partners with hiring managers in a consultative capacity. Focused on delivering top talent for hiring managers while providing proactive and timely communication on search status.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Complete detailed job scope conversation with hiring leader to determine position specifications.
- Review applicant applications via Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
- Build and deploy effective recruitment marketing campaigns specific to job openings.
- Source candidates from resume databases and networking sites using Boolean search language.
- Source candidates via social media and deep web sourcing techniques.
- Generate targeted passive candidate lists using subscriptions and technologies.
- Solicit referrals from business networks and internal referrals.
- Utilize proprietary software for mobile and email campaigns to talent communities.
- Connect with talent community using a mix of media (phone, email, campaigning, network introductions, social media).
- Provide value propositions tailored to each candidate.
- Prepare candidates for interviews (logistics, schedule, attire, expectations).
- Provide timely updates on application and interview status.
- Monitor candidate interest and concerns.
- Conduct professional phone interviews with industry/role specific probing questions.
- Navigate difficult conversations effectively.
- Compare candidate phone interview notes and skills assessments with requisition specifications.
- Consider candidate fit to team and cultural fit.
- Conduct skills testing and evaluate results (if needed).
- Review background and reference information (if needed).
- Keep candidates engaged throughout the process.
- Build a talent pipeline with multiple candidates.
- Keep hiring manager updated on market changes affecting hiring.
- Articulate and drive candidate offer acceptance.
- Partner with hiring manager to ensure offer acceptance.
- Adhere to all regulations (OFCCP, etc.).
- Demonstrate segment/practice/industry expertise.
- Deliver a strong candidate slate for each requisition.
- Provide accurate and regular reporting of recruiting activities.
- Identify search difficulties and research solutions with leadership (and hiring manager).
- Proactively communicate search status to hiring manager.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
