Senior Recruiter is responsible for Service Excellence throughout the recruitment cycle.
Acts as a brand ambassador for client and partners with hiring managers in a consultative capacity.
Focused on delivering top talent for hiring managers while providing proactive and timely communication on search status.
Expected to stay abreast of industry and market trends affecting search.
Acts as mentor to Recruiters and other team members.
Demonstrates innovation and outside-the-box thinking in search techniques.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Complete detailed job scope conversation with hiring leader to determine position specifications.
- Timely review of applicants via applicant tracking system.
- Build and deploy effective recruitment marketing campaigns.
- Source candidates via resume databases and networking sites using Boolean search language.
- Source candidates via social media and deep web sourcing techniques.
- Generate targeted lists of passive candidates using subscriptions and technologies.
- Solicit and pursue referrals from business networks or internal referrals.
- Utilize proprietary software for mobile and email campaigning to talent communities.
- Use a sophisticated mix of media (phone, email, campaigning, network introductions, social media) to connect with talent community.
- Provide value propositions tailored to each candidate's situation and interest level.
- Prepare candidates for interviews (logistical information, schedule, attire, follow-up expectations, additional counsel).
- Ensure timely updates concerning application and interview status.
- Monitor candidate interest levels and concerns.
- Conduct professional phone interviews with industry/role specific probing questions.
- Navigate difficult conversations to gather appropriate information.
- Compare candidate phone interview notes and skills assessments with requisition specifications to determine match.
- Consider candidate fit to team and cultural fit.
- Issue and evaluate skills testing (if needed).
- Review background and reference information (if needed).
- Keep candidates engaged throughout the process.
- Continuously build talent pipeline.
- Keep hiring manager updated on market changes impacting hiring process or talent community.
- Articulate job offer and drive candidate acceptance.
- Partner with hiring manager to ensure offer acceptance.
- Strict adherence to all regulations (OFCCP and compliance standards).
- Demonstrate segment/practice/industry expertise.
- Deliver a strong candidate slate for each requisition.
- Provide accurate and regular reporting of recruiting activities.
- Identify search difficulties and research solutions by collaborating with leadership (and hiring manager).
- Proactively communicate search status to hiring manager.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Position Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in business, management, HR, or related field (equivalent experience considered).
- Minimum 5+ years' results-oriented recruiting experience in in-house, RPO, or agency setting.
- Ability to showcase niche segment or industry expertise.
- Ability to employ recruiting technologies to create efficiencies.
- Adhere to documentation and processes for compliance.
- Experience with deep web sourcing techniques.
