Role OverviewWe are seeking an experienced and resourceful Senior Recruiter to lead the full-cycle talent acquisition process and drive strategic hiring initiatives. Reporting to the Head of People Operations, this role partners closely with hiring managers, delivers exceptional candidate experiences, and efficiently fills a mix of technical and non-technical positions. As a key contributor to DroneDeploy’s growth, you’ll play a pivotal role in building and shaping our team. This remote role targets candidates located in the U.S., specifically within or west of Texas.
Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle recruitment, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and closing candidates across various roles (technical, non-technical, IC, and leadership positions). Expect to fill 10-15 roles per quarter.
- Build strong partnerships with hiring managers to understand role requirements, team needs, and hiring goals.
- Craft accurate, engaging job descriptions and develop comprehensive interview kits.
- Build and execute tailored recruitment strategies to attract top talent, leveraging tools like LinkedIn Recruiter, job boards, networking, and employee referrals.
- Ensure a positive, engaging candidate experience from initial contact through onboarding.
- Conduct structured interviews and guide hiring teams in best practices for interviewing and selection.
- Track, analyze, and report recruiting metrics (e.g., time-to-fill, source effectiveness) to drive process improvements.
- Develop and maintain an active pipeline of candidates for current and future hiring needs.
- Act as a brand ambassador, promoting our culture, mission, values, total reward offerings to candidates.
- Continuously enhance recruitment practices to ensure consistency, efficiency, and compliance.
- Stay current on industry trends and apply them to improve recruitment strategies.
- Provide interview training and mentorship to hiring teams to strengthen their recruiting skills.
Requirements
- 5+ years of in-house recruiting experience, in SaaS and fast-paced environments.
- Proven ability to fill 10–15 roles per quarter across technical and non-technical, leadership, and IC positions.
- Expertise in sourcing and managing candidates using Lever (or comparable Applicant Tracking Software).
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple requisitions and competing priorities effectively.
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) and a proven ability to build strong relationships with candidates and hiring managers.
- Data-driven approach with experience tracking and reporting recruiting metrics.
- Solid understanding of best practices in hiring.
- Self-motivated and collaborative, able to work independently in a remote-first environment.
- Experience with employer branding strategies and recruitment marketing.
- A knack for mentoring and coaching hiring teams.
- Specialize with targeted and specialized recruitment for niche skill sets.
- Proven ability to curate and execute targeted recruitment strategies to secure top talent with niche skill sets.
- Comfortable working Pacific Time Zone overlapping hours and accommodating multiple time zones.
- Available to occasionally travel domestically for meetings, conferences, or company events.
