Senior Recruiter is responsible for Service Excellence throughout the recruitment cycle.
Acts as a brand ambassador for their client and partners with hiring managers in a consultative capacity. Focused on delivering top talent and providing proactive and timely communication on search status.
Staying informed about industry and market trends impacting the search is crucial.
Mentors Recruiters and other team members.
Demonstrates innovation and outside-the-box thinking in search techniques.
Work Location: Remote for US-based candidates. Work Arrangement: Remote. Work Schedule: Full-time.
Specific requirements: Experience with sales recruiting in the pharmaceutical sector.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Detailed job scope conversation with the hiring leader to determine position specifications.
- Timely review of applicants in the Applicant Tracking System.
- Build and deploy effective recruitment marketing campaigns specific to job openings.
- Source candidates from resume databases and networking sites using Boolean search.
- Source candidates using social media and deep web sourcing.
- Generate targeted lists of passive candidates using member subscriptions and technologies.
- Solicit and pursue referrals.
- Utilize proprietary software for talent community mobile and email campaigns.
- Use diverse media to connect with talent community (phone, email, campaigns, network introductions, and social media).
- Provide uniquely tailored value propositions to each candidate.
- Prepare candidates for interviews (logistics, schedule, attire, expectations).
- Provide additional counsel to candidates as needed.
- Provide timely updates on application and interview statuses.
- Monitor candidate interest and concerns.
- Conduct professional phone interviews with industry/role-specific probing questions.
- Navigate difficult conversations effectively.
- Compare candidate phone interview notes and skills assessments with requisition specifications.
- Consider candidate fit to team and culture.
- Issue and evaluate skills testing (if required).
- Review background and reference information (if required).
- Keep candidates engaged throughout the process.
- Continuously build talent pipeline to ensure multiple candidates are in play.
- Keep hiring manager informed of market changes impacting hiring.
- Articulate job offers and drive candidate acceptance.
- Partner with hiring manager to ensure offer acceptance.
- Adhere to all regulations (OFCCP and other compliance standards).
- Demonstrate segment/practice/industry expertise.
- Deliver a strong candidate slate for each requisition.
- Provide accurate and regular reporting of recruiting activities.
- Identify search difficulties and research solutions with leadership (and hiring manager as appropriate).
- Proactively communicate search status to hiring manager.
- Other duties as assigned.
Position Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in business, management, human resources, or a related field.
- Equivalent experience considered.
Experience: Minimum five years of results-oriented recruiting experience in an in-house, RPO, or agency setting. Commercial pharmaceutical experience required. Commercial vaccine experience preferred.
Exposure: Showcase niche segment or industry expertise. Employ recruiting technologies to create efficiency. Adhere to documentation and processes for compliance. Experience with deep web sourcing techniques.
