We are looking for an experienced and visionary Senior Platform Engineer to lead the development and optimization of our AWS cloud infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design and implementation of highly available, scalable, and secure cloud infrastructure in AWS.
- Architect cloud solutions optimized for performance, security, and cost-efficiency (multi-region, multi-account, hybrid cloud).
- Drive automation initiatives, building robust IaC frameworks (AWS CloudFormation, Terraform, Ansible).
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to platform engineers.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams for seamless service integration.
- Oversee CI/CD pipelines for fast, reliable, and automated deployments.
- Lead complex troubleshooting and performance tuning efforts.
- Implement security best practices (monitoring, logging, incident response).
- Evaluate and integrate new AWS services to enhance platform capabilities.
- Develop and enforce governance models for cloud environments.
- Act as the subject matter expert (SME) on AWS.
- API Management and Contract-First Approach: Oversee API architecture and implementation.
- Innovation and Continuous Improvement: Evaluate and integrate new AWS services.
- Governance and Compliance: Develop and enforce governance models.
Qualifications
- 10+ years experience in cloud infrastructure design and management, focused on AWS.
- Expertise in architecting and managing complex cloud environments.
- Proven experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools.
- Strong Linux/Unix skills and automation scripting.
- In-depth knowledge of AWS networking, security, and architecture best practices.
- Experience implementing and optimizing CI/CD pipelines.
- Proficiency with monitoring, logging, and observability tools.
- Leadership and mentoring experience.
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Strong collaboration and communication skills.
Preferred Skills
- AWS Certified Solutions Architect (Professional), etc.
- Deep experience with Kubernetes, Docker, and container orchestration.
- Experience with multi-cloud or hybrid cloud strategies.
- Experience with service mesh architectures and microservices.
- Experience with security compliance frameworks.
- Familiarity with serverless architectures.

Salary Range: $126,000 - $140,000
