Job Details

The People Team at Guardant Health is seeking a Senior Staff HRIS Analyst specializing in Workday Advanced Compensation and Performance Management. Reporting to the Senior Manager, HRIS, this role will be a subject matter expert responsible for designing, configuring, and supporting Workday’s compensation and performance modules.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Advanced Compensation: Partner with Total Rewards on annual compensation cycles; Build and maintain eligibility rules and compensation plans; Manage and troubleshoot compensation review events.
  • Performance Management: Configure and support Workday’s performance review processes; Update templates and workflows; Implement enhancements to improve user experience.
  • Talent Management: Support the configuration and maintenance of Workday Talent Management processes.
  • System Administration & Support: Lead configuration changes, testing, and deployment; Collaborate with HRIS teammates; Troubleshoot and resolve system issues.
  • Reporting & Analytics: Build and maintain reports and dashboards for compensation, talent, and performance data.
  • Process Improvement: Identify and implement process efficiencies, leveraging Workday capabilities.

Essential Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Information Systems, Business, or related field.
  • 4–6 years of HRIS experience, with at least 3 years in hands-on Workday configuration.
  • Deep knowledge of Workday Advanced Compensation and Performance Management modules.
  • Experience supporting annual merit/bonus cycles and performance review processes in Workday.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Workday Pro certification in Advanced Compensation and/or Performance Management.
  • Experience in healthcare, biotech, or life sciences.
  • Advanced reporting skills, including calculated fields and complex reports.
