About the Role: Our Private Equity & Transaction Advisory Group is seeking a Senior Vice President of Health & Benefits Due Diligence to develop and implement risk management solutions. You will lead comprehensive due diligence on acquisitions and investments, collaborating with internal and external stakeholders. This role is US remote-based.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee due diligence, setting clear objectives and timelines for efficient and accurate assessments.
- Lead due diligence projects, ensuring timely and high-quality deliverables.
- Analyze employee benefits programs, health plans, and costs to identify risks and opportunities.
- Conduct due diligence on benefits compliance, liabilities, funding, claims, carrier arrangements, and post-close strategies.
- Provide technical input on benefits in purchase agreements.
- Communicate internally and externally, collaborating with brokers, coverage experts, producers, client service teams, M&A teams, private equity firms, and target companies.
- Identify transaction issues and develop resolutions with clients' third-party advisors.
- Partner with producers and account executives to support M&A activity and cross-sell H&B solutions.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging risks, and regulatory changes.
- Represent Newfront effectively.
Qualifications:
- 8+ years of experience in employee benefits.
- Advanced experience in M&A and due diligence.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
- Growth mindset and ability to analyze various industries.
- Ability to work on tight timeframes.
- Life & Health Brokerage License is preferred.
Compensation: $202,200 - $316,000 (base pay may vary). Bonus, restricted stock units, discretionary awards, and a comprehensive benefits package, including 401(k) and paid time off, may be included. At-will position. Salary, compensation, and benefits may change.
