Job Details

At NeuroNav, we believe everyone deserves the opportunity to make their own choices and shape their story, regardless of disability. Our mission is to enhance the quality of life for adults with developmental disabilities through simplicity and choice. Founded at Stanford in 2020 with support from the Stanford Innovation Fellowship, we use technology to create personalized care plans and connect our neurodivergent clients with virtual Navigators who help manage their benefits. Last year, we supported hundreds of individuals in accessing life-changing services, and we’re on track to quadruple our impact next year. We’re committed to making inclusion and equity a reality.

If you’re passionate about joining a high-growth, innovative company dedicated to improving lives, we’d love to hear from you!

What You’ll Do: As the Service Coordinator Manager, or as we know it internally, the Service Navigator Manager, you will be the driving force behind our team of Service Navigators, ensuring the seamless execution of supporting our clients in California’s Self-Determination Program. You’ll implement policies and procedures and serve as the go-to person for daily challenges your team might encounter as they advocate for their clients.

Your responsibilities include:

  • Assigning and managing clients
  • Prioritizing team tasks
  • Supporting hiring and training within your team
  • Taking decisive action on cases or team issues

Specific responsibilities include:

Team Leadership: Inspire and lead a dynamic team of Service Navigators.

Strategic Decision-Making: Optimize performance and outcomes by analyzing and driving team metrics.

Client Advocacy: Ensure a strong partnership and effective collaboration by representing NeuroNav in client and partner meetings.

Company Policy Improvement & Implementation: Execute and uphold policies and procedures to ensure the team’s success in guiding individuals through the Self-Determination Program. Identify areas of improvement and work together to implement positive change.

Talent Development: Identify and nurture the growth of future leaders within the team, building skill sets and fostering a culture of mentorship.

What You’ll Bring:

Commitment to Service: Your career or educational journey reflects a commitment to learning how to best help and serve others, aligning seamlessly with the challenges and rewards of this position.

Team Management Experience: Demonstrated success in leadership and professional development of teams, including motivating team members to achieve individual and collective goals while fostering a positive and collaborative work environment (1 year of management experience required and 2+ years preferred)

Developmental Disabilities Experience: Essential is a background working with individuals with developmental disabilities (IDD), bringing a unique understanding to the challenges and rewards of the role. 2 years of IDD support experience is required and 3+ years is preferred (preference for experience in social work, care coordination, ABA therapy, or as a service provider)

Additional qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience (required)
  • Client-facing experience managing multiple relationships at one time (required)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills (required)
  • Must have computer, reliable high-speed internet connection, and a quiet work environment
  • Fluent in Spanish and bilingual (strongly preferred)
  • Experience in a performance-based culture with metrics attainment goals (preferred)
  • Experience with Microsoft Office & Google Suite (preferred)

Don’t fit every qualification? Don’t worry. We think the right fit is more important than direct experience. Above all, we’re looking for a candidate who is driven, passionate, empathetic, and a team player.
