Software Build/Install Engineer Jitterbit is seeking a software build/install engineer to join our Platform team. Jitterbit is an automation company providing a Unified AI-Infused Low-code platform (iPaaS, API Management, LCAP, EDI) recognized in Gartner MQ for ten straight years. Customers use our platform to address mission-critical automation challenges. Our challenge: make it easy to automate customer systems, building a reliable, stable, and scalable SaaS offering.

About the Job: We need a highly skilled and detail-oriented Software Build and Install Engineer to design, implement, and maintain robust build and deployment systems. This role automates processes, manages installations, ensures build pipeline reliability, and builds an effective, customer-friendly build system. Full lifecycle responsibilities for scalable build systems are expected.

Qualifications:
- 10+ years of experience building large-scale distributed applications.
- Strong experience building multi-tenant SaaS applications.
- Strong problem-solving, debugging, and analytical skills with attention to detail.
- Experience with Microservices and Cloud-based architectures/design patterns.
Technical Skills and Experience:
- Proficiency in build tools (CMake, Make, Gradle, Maven).
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions).
- Strong knowledge of scripting languages (Python, Bash, PowerShell).
- Familiarity with version control (Git, SVN), branching strategies, software packaging/installation tools (InstallShield, NSIS, WiX).
- Understanding of operating systems (Linux, Windows, macOS).
- Application deployment via Docker and/or Kubernetes.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Familiar with Java and top-tier RDBMS (SQL Server, MySQL).
