As a Software Development Engineer II at Entain's In-House Studios, you will take on a more advanced role in developing innovative gaming products, contributing technical expertise to deliver exceptional player experiences.
This mid-level position is designed for developers with a strong foundation in software engineering who are ready to take on more responsibility, including mentoring junior developers and collaborating across teams to enhance development processes.
Your role will involve:
- Building and maintaining high-quality JavaScript code to implement advanced features, ensuring smooth integration of graphics, audio, and gameplay elements.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to design and develop products that meet design specifications and exceed user expectations.
- Providing technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers, helping them build skills and grow professionally.
- Working closely with QA and deployment teams to troubleshoot and resolve issues, ensuring products meet quality and compliance standards.
- Taking ownership of features and deliverables, ensuring timely completion while maintaining high levels of quality and performance.
- Ensuring responsiveness and compatibility across multiple devices and browsers, with a focus on delivering seamless user experiences.
- Staying ahead of industry trends, identifying opportunities to introduce new tools, technologies, and best practices to improve workflows.
- Actively contributing to technical discussions and help shape the future of development processes and team standards.
Key Skills and Experience:
- Proficient understanding of JavaScript, HTML, and CSS, with proven experience delivering high-quality software solutions.
