Key Responsibilities:

- Serve as the subject matter expert for all AP-related inquiries.
- Manage vendor communications, resolve payment issues, and maintain positive relationships.
- Collaborate with departments to resolve Purchase Order (PO) and invoice discrepancies.
- Ensure timely and accurate payments to vendors.
- Monitor AP aging reports and vendor statements to resolve outstanding balances and discrepancies.
- Reconcile AP subledger to general ledger and support month-end/year-end closing.
- Process employee reimbursements and corporate credit card expenses accurately.
- Develop and maintain AP policies, procedures, and internal controls.
- Assist with audits by providing documentation.
- Identify and implement process improvements and automation opportunities.
- Maintain vendor records (W-9s, banking info, etc.)
- Accurately assess and apply sales tax on purchases/payments and assist in monthly use tax accruals.
- Prepare and file 1099s and other regulatory reports.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- 5+ years of progressive experience in Accounts Payable.
- Strong understanding of GAAP, AP best practices, and large ERP accounting systems (Oracle Fusion and Coupa).
- Advanced Excel skills and data analysis abilities.
- Exceptional attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
