Sr. Enrollment Systems Manager

Responsible for setup, maintenance, and optimization of enrollment tables within the athenahealth system.

Primary Responsibilities

• Configure and maintain payer enrollment tables.
• Act as a liaison for enrollment-related issues.
• Ensure payer IDs, provider group enrollments, and claim details are aligned.
• Oversee ERA and EFT enrollment submissions.
• Monitor released claim activity and resolve discrepancies.
• Coordinate banking setup and reconciliation of EFT transactions.
• Maintain HIPAA and payer compliance.
• Monitor payer bulletins and updates.
• Collaborate with teams for system functionality enhancement.
• Develop and refine SOPs for athena setup and workflows.
• Generate and analyze enrollment reports.
• Identify and implement automation and workflow enhancements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in healthcare, business, IT or related field (or equivalent experience)
• 5+ years of experience in provider enrollment, revenue cycle, or healthcare IT.
• Strong knowledge of athenahealth, payer enrollment, ERA, and EFT.
• Knowledge of EDI transactions, HIPAA standards, and banking processes related to EFTs
• Experience with Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial payers
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, EHR/PM systems, and enrollment portals
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and collaborate effectively across departments
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
