The Senior Data Governance Analyst role will implement and architect data governance capabilities technically and via policies within RRD. The Data Governance Analyst will drive current and future state governance initiatives throughout the RRD ecosystem.
Responsibilities:
- Analyze business and technical processes to formalize and implement governance solutions.
- Develop, implement, and maintain data governance frameworks, policies, and standards for consistency and compliance.
- Document policies, processes, and initiatives to drive the Governance Program.
- Create Data Quality, Data Governance, and data management workflows and approval checkpoints.
- Train individuals on RRD's Data Catalog and other Data Governance technologies.
- Collaborate with stakeholders and IT teams to design continuous improvement and governance solutions.
- Represent Data Governance in meetings and communications across teams and products.
- Align business stakeholders on governance initiatives.
- Recommend and implement process improvements to enhance data governance.
- Provide expertise on data governance risks and impacts.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Bachelor's degree in a related discipline preferred.
- 5+ years experience in Data Stewardship, Information Security, Data Privacy, or Business Analysis.
- Security, privacy, governance, or product management certifications a plus.
- Experience with Collibra's Data Catalog or similar metadata catalogs.
- Experience in programming languages.
- Experience with health and financial data.
- Knowledge of Advertisement and Digital Marketing processes a plus.
- Strong technical problem-solving and analytical abilities.

- Understanding of Data Catalog basics and Collibra (preferred).
- Ability to align governance with product and business capabilities.
- Understanding of cloud infrastructure and on-premise/cloud boundaries.
- Ability to educate non-experts on complex topics and tools.
- Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and independent work style.
- Working knowledge of multiple technology stacks (primarily cloud-driven, e.g., Snowflake, AWS).
- Understanding of Data Security and Privacy fundamentals.
Compensation:
Salary range: $74,600 - $132,500 per year (location dependent). Total compensation may include bonuses, commissions, or incentives.
