Senior Manager, Revenue Cycle Management
Oversee and train staff, manage functions and processes. Accountable for team performance, quality, and production metrics.
Support RCM Associate Directors with escalations and strategic projects.
Ensure Accounts Receivables are managed according to best practices, review, reconcile, and resolve Manager Holds, Zero Pay, Unapplied, Unpostables, and aged accounts receivables.
Resolve claim issues that escalate to the RCM team.
Resolve Salesforce cases and manage related issues.
Key skills: Strong training and claims management skills, attention to detail, solutions-focused mindset, strong work ethic.
Oversee claims submission and follow-up process, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
Lead and manage large payer projects and care center support projects, updating leadership and stakeholders.
Keep ADs informed of opportunities for improvement and process recommendations.
Manage teams responsible for accounts receivable (AR), analyze and resolve aged AR, identify root cause issues.
Utilize data to identify claim denial/delay patterns, develop actionable solutions.
Make independent decisions regarding claim adjustments, resubmission, appeals, and other resolution techniques.
Update RCM policies as needed.
Meet with Performance Operations, Implementation, Sales, and other Privia teams to review escalated issues.
Meet with Care Center leadership to discuss complex claims.
Train internal teams (Operations, Sales) and care center staff (when appropriate).
Support care center go-lives (may include overnight travel).
Achieve department KPIs with a team-focused approach.
Perform or assist with staffing duties (hiring, termination, coaching, training).
Provide ongoing performance feedback.
Counsel employees in disciplinary matters, seeking HR assistance when needed.
Education and Experience: High School Graduate, Medical Office training certificate or relevant experience. 5+ years in managing physician revenue cycle, 3+ years in personnel management.
Technical Skills: Understand drivers of optimal revenue cycle performance, resolve complex claims. Experience with athenaOne, Trizetto, and Salesforce preferred.
Location: USA
Salary: $75,000 - $80,000 base pay + potential bonus (15%) + benefits.
