Sr. Manager of Strategic Accounts and Oncology GPO Management is responsible for implementing key group purchasing organization (GPO) strategies across the Sobi portfolio and building organizational capabilities in the Community Oncology & GPO space.
Essential responsibilities include ensuring the Oncology GPO Strategy creates provider uptake and ensures successful access and in-office dispensing by Community Oncology Practices. Develop and implement a Strategic Account approach to drive products with Strategic Accounts, Oncology GPOs and Community Oncology Practices.
Leadership responsibilities:
- Leads all customer-facing activity with key formulary decision makers in community oncology practices and GPO Accounts.
- Provides GPO Strategy Team feedback from GPO Accounts and Community Oncology to aid in setting future direction.
- Collaborates with internal stakeholders (value & access, finance, sales & marketing, legal, and compliance) to support business case recommendations for GPO activities.
- Coordinates GPO marketing programs and sponsorships with cross-functional partners.
- Utilizes GPO performance dashboards to assess opportunities and target accounts.
- Ensures Account Management team is aligned with and influences community oncology practice formulary review process, coordinating Sobi resources (medical affairs, health economics).
- Serves as single point of contact for key targeted Hematology Provider Network accounts.
- Leads GPO Team and internal partner efforts at Provider Network and adjacent/Corporate Account conferences.
- Leads efforts for ONCare, CHOP and other GPO aggregators.
- Serves as an Account Management expert for all RBDs.
- Supports GPO and Community Oncology informational needs of the U.S. sales force.
Requirements:
- BA/BS degree
- 5+ years experience in biotech/pharmaceutical industries
- 1+ year experience in GPO and/or Strategic Accounts
- Oncology and/or hematology experience (focus on rare and orphan diseases)
- Oral therapeutic product knowledge
Preferred:
- Master's or other advanced degree
- Product launch experience in the oral oncolytic space
- 8+ years experience
