Description
• Architect new features, design and review implementations • Provide technical leadership and mentoring to Software Engineers • Have close collaboration with development partners and align them with overall technical roadmap and architecture • Work closely with the management team to develop, propose and execute engineering initiatives • Drive high quality and secure SDLC in all software solutions • Software Updates and Security Fixes • Define best practices for implementation and enforcement of high standard of development practice • Skilled in Agile (primarily Scrum), AWS development, automation, containers, microservices, and serverless techniques • Drive continuous engineering improvement, fostering innovation and excellence across the team and organization • Participate in an on-call rotation, promptly delivering support to resolve production issues outside standard working hours as required, ensuring minimal impact on customer experience
Requirements
• 10+ years of software engineering experience designing with a broad range of systems, back end, frontend, and cloud services ensuring full stack capability • Proven experience with expertise in Java and React with related frameworks and successful implementations • Capable of architecting, designing, and engineering scalable, resilient applications to meet evolving business needs • Strong proficiency in Java, Spring, and Spring Boot for backend development • Solid understanding of JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, ES6, JQuery and frontend frameworks like React.js • Experience with data persistence technologies such as MongoDB and Elasticsearch • Familiarity with build tools like Maven and NPM for project management and dependency management • Proficiency in Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, GitHub, and understanding of FedRAMP compliance • Experience with cloud platforms like AWS for deploying and scaling applications • Extensive experience in developing and integrating RESTful APIs to facilitate seamless communication between Frontend and backend services • Understanding of monitoring, logging, and observability practices • Knowledge of containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) and container orchestration • Knowledge of infrastructure as code, configuration management, and deployment automation • Proven ability in project estimation, decomposition, commitment setting, and execution • Demonstrated aptitude for collaboration across various engineering disciplines, including Software, Site Reliability, Performance, Database Reliability, and Quality Assurance • Agile development experience including working with Atlassian stack, especially JIRA • Well-versed in secure programming practices, including experience with scanning tools like Veracode to ensure robust security measures
