Full-Time Swimming & Lifeguard

We are seeking a dedicated Swimming & Lifeguard to join our team at our state-of-the-art aquatic facility in Doha, Qatar.

As a Swimming & Lifeguard, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety of our patrons while providing excellent swimming instruction and promoting water safety awareness.

1. Monitor pool areas and maintain constant surveillance of patrons in the facility.
2. Prevent accidents and respond quickly to emergency situations.
3. Perform water rescues and administer first aid and CPR when necessary.
4. Teach swimming lessons to individuals and groups of various ages and skill levels.
5. Enforce all aquatic facility policies, rules, and regulations.
6. Inspect and maintain safety equipment, such as rescue tubes and first aid kits.
7. Assist in maintaining pool water quality and cleanliness.
8. Participate in regular in-service training sessions to maintain and improve skills.
9. Communicate effectively with patrons, staff, and management.
10. Complete and maintain accurate records and reports.

Required Qualifications:

• Strong swimming skills and physical fitness
• Current certification in Lifeguarding, CPR, and First Aid
• Water Safety Instructor (WSI) certification preferred
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous experience as a lifeguard or swim instructor preferred
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Ability to remain calm and make quick decisions in emergency situations
• Knowledge of aquatic facility operations and pool maintenance basics
• Attention to detail and strong observational skills
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays
• Ability to work in outdoor conditions and stand for extended periods
• Proficiency in English; knowledge of Arabic is a plus
• Experience in Retail pharmacy sales
