Job Details
We are seeking a Tax Manager to join our Hungarian finance team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Tax integration: Update scope, calculate overall tax result quarterly, and review individual tax results.
- Transfer pricing documentation updates, ensuring policy reliability locally (Hungary).
- Participate in company reorganizations.
- Tax audit follow-up.
- Ensure declaration deadlines are met.
- Draft procedures for ongoing projects and new processes.
- Monitor tax regulations and communicate changes.
- Answer tax questions (VAT, CIR, IS, tax result, etc.).
- Interact with group tax departments on shared projects (e.g., transfer pricing).
- Optimize local taxes with an external consultant.
Requirements:
- Master's degree in Accounting, Taxation, Finance, Economics, Business, or equivalent.
- Minimum 3-5 years' tax experience, ideally in Big 4.
- Accounting experience is a plus.
- Fluency in Hungarian and English.
- Proactive, dynamic, analytical, and curious.
