Position Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and professional TeleRadiology Technician to support remote radiologic imaging services. The successful candidate will be responsible for patient identity verification, proper operation of radiographic equipment, and accurate documentation within imaging systems, contributing to the delivery of high-quality diagnostic services in a virtual setting. As a TeleRadiology Technician, you will be at the forefront of innovative healthcare delivery, supporting patients and clinicians remotely. Key Responsibilities:
- Patient Verification: Establish and confirm patient identity in alignment with departmental protocols. Verify physician orders and obtain relevant patient history to support accurate diagnostic imaging.
- Professional Interaction: Maintain professional communication skills and exhibit courteous behavior toward patients, family members, and staff members.
- Radiographic Expertise: Display a thorough working knowledge of all radiographic equipment. Be proficient with department equipment and systems, including Computerized Radiography (CR), Computed Tomography (CT), Information Systems, and Picture Archiving and Communication Systems (PACS).
- Documentation: Document all relevant information accurately into required systems. Adhere to hospital and departmental policies, including attendance, credential documentation, and proper use of image markers.
Qualification:
- Education: Graduate of an accredited two-year program in Radiologic Technology.
- Licensure: State radiology licensure is required.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills to interact professionally with patients, physicians, visitors, and team members.
Skills and Attributes:
- Technical proficiency in radiographic imaging and equipment operation.
