The Truck Tires business continues to grow in a competitive market. Continental needs a Territory Sales Manager who drives sales for new tires in the replacement market for commercial trucks and trailers. This role involves a consultative approach as a trusted advisor in Continental products and services, integrating sales with promotion of new technologies and services, prospecting new customers, and maintaining existing accounts.
- Retain and grow existing accounts and solicit new business.
- Build strong customer relationships through regular site visits.
- Develop sales activity at key regional fleets and dealers.
- Offer high-performance products and technology solutions.
- Own the launch process of new products and services.
- Monitor progress and adjust strategy via market analysis.
- Resolve operational issues and prepare reports.
WHAT YOU BRING TO THE ROLE
- Bachelor’s degree and 1-3+ years of sales experience OR high school degree and 3-6+ years related sales experience
- 1+ years of experience in tire, automotive, or technology business
- Valid driver's license and responsible driving record.
- Ability to travel up to 50%.
- Ability to comply physical demands, such as lifting up to 75 pounds.
ADDITIONAL WAYS TO STAND OUT
- Bachelor’s degree and 2-5+ years of outside sales experience
- Strong Microsoft Office skills.
- High degree of comfort with digital technology.
