About the Role:
We are looking for a full-time Tissue Procurement Specialist. This role is responsible for procuring tissue samples from Pathology Laboratories in assigned Territories.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Serve as a Tissue Procurement Specialist.
- Support tissue retrieval efforts within your assigned territory.
- Foster and maintain strong, trust-based relationships with laboratory personnel.
- Collaborate seamlessly within a team environment.
- Accurately document all communications.
- Comply with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) related to Tissue Procurement.
- Input data and upload documentation accurately into Salesforce.com and LIMS systems.
- Communicate professionally and effectively with external clients, patients, and internal team members at all levels.
- Assist with additional administrative tasks as needed.
- Utilize Salesforce (CRM) and other integrated software platforms.
- Meet and exceed team and individual performance targets.
- Apply problem-solving skills to address customer concerns.
- Demonstrate adaptability and flexibility in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Essential Qualifications:
- A 4-year college degree in Biological Sciences or a related discipline is preferred.
- 2+ years of customer-facing experience.
- Tissue Sample Procurement experience is required.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite; experience with Salesforce (CRM) is a plus.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills (phone and email) with high computer literacy.
