Total Rewards Associate Responsibilities:
Coordinate and administer benefits programs, focusing on retirement plans, leaves, disability, and life insurance.
Collaborate with Total Rewards team, HR technology, payroll, and HR Partners for high-quality program delivery and an exceptional associate experience.
Administer daily operations of 401(k), leave of absence, disability, and life insurance plans (tracking leaves, disability payments, annual testing, audits, 401(k) funding, and regulatory/tax filings).
Partner with external plan administrators for accurate and timely transactions, issue resolution, and positive associate experiences.
Ensure adherence to policies, procedures, and regulations, providing customer-focused support to HR and associates.
Investigate and resolve data transmission issues between HR systems and external plan administrators.
Collaborate to ensure leaves, disability, and 401(k) deferrals/loans are correctly reflected in payroll and benefits systems.
Audit data and third-party administrator transactions for accuracy and compliance.
Conduct regular reviews to maintain compliance with state and federal regulations (FMLA, ADA, state leave laws).
Support implementation of new benefit plans/programs as needed.
Identify and implement process improvement opportunities using lean tools.
Educate HR team and associates on retirement and leave programs/procedures.
Support developing, coordinating, and delivering total rewards communication materials.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent with 2-4 years of relevant experience, or bachelor's degree in business with 1 year relevant experience.
- High level of confidentiality (protecting personal health information & ensuring HIPAA compliance)
- Excellent communication skills with attention to detail
- Experience handling routine to complex inquiries
- Strong technical skills in various systems (Workday preferred)
- Strong analytical, organizational, and project management skills
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and work independently/in a team environment
- Strong Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
