We are seeking an experienced Total Rewards Specialist to help implement and manage comprehensive compensation and benefits programs that support our employees' well-being, contribute to Nearmap’s position as an employer of choice.
You will partner closely with Payroll, Legal, People & Culture Business Partners and Finance to create a smooth benefits and Compensation administration experience for all employees as we grow and scale.
- Manage day-to-day administration of our existing benefits offerings, including health plans, financial plans, and wellness initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations across all jurisdictions where Nearmap operates.
- Assist with implementation, maintenance, and ongoing support for benefits in our HRIS, including downstream vendor integrations.
- Develop and deliver benefits training and documentation for all employees, e.g. benefits onboarding, open enrollment, new benefits launch, etc.
- Collaborate with finance to manage benefits budgets and analyze cost-effectiveness of programs.
- Support employee benefits questions and manage relationships with vendors and brokers.
- Perform job evaluations and analysis of jobs, compensation benchmarking, data collection, base salaries and incentives to evaluate internal equity, external competitiveness, and legal compliance of pay practices.
- Review and analyze job duties to determine scope of work including assessing and evaluating jobs to determine grade, classification, and market value for new positions, as well as requests for compensation increase, structure, grade, and title changes.
- Provide analysis and counsel to management on compensation programs and initiatives related to pay structures, pay incentives, pay change recommendations, new hire offers, and wage and hour regulations.
- Continuously evaluate for and implement process efficiencies.
- Examine compensation trends and develop recommendations supporting business initiatives.
- Assist with annual merit increases and other similar projects by working collaboratively with HR, Payroll, and cross functional teams to ensure project goals are achieved.
- Compile salary survey submission files, performs job matching, responsible for market pay system maintenance and administration, ensuring accurate market data and internal data validation.
- Responsible for auditing data on a regular basis.
- Act as a main contact for day-to-day compensation matters, including monitoring and answering queries to a functional email inbox.
- Develop, analyze, and maintain complex Excel reports to support data analysis.

- Act in an ethical way when dealing with company assets and other people.

Experience: 4-6 years of benefits experience, preferably in a high-growth environment. Previous experience with implementing and managing international benefits. Previous experience with ADP and Workday benefits implementation. Bonus if you have other Benefits systems experience.
Skills & Qualities: Strong collaboration and program management skills, with a track record of taking on ambiguously scoped projects and taking ownership to deliver amazing results. Knowledge of compensation principles and procedures. Ability to identify the underlying principles, reasons, or facts of information by breaking down information or data into separate parts. Ability to complete assignments accurately and with attention to detail. Intermediate to advanced Excel and Google Sheet functions. Ability to communicate effectively in both oral and written form. Excellent written, verbal, and visual communication skills. Energetic, enthusiastic, with a positive attitude, even when under pressure. High attention to detail. Ability to travel. Degree qualified, BA in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field. Recognized HR (People & Culture) certification is a plus.
