CapTech’s CX team seeks a UX Architect to design digital brand experiences informed by user research and accessibility.
Our UX Architects are passionate problem-solvers aligning user goals with business objectives.
They stay current with research tools, mentor other practitioners, and ensure successful delivery.
Ideal candidates possess strong communication skills, interaction design expertise, and experience across multiple projects.
Proven understanding of user research, usability testing, product strategy, heuristic analysis, information architecture, user interface design, wireframing, prototyping, and usability testing is necessary.
Responsibilities include:
- Leading persona and customer journey creation.
- Conceptual prototyping and responsive interface design.
- Conducting design workshops, rapid prototyping, and iterative user testing.
- Producing informative presentations to clients and internal teams.
- Advocating accessible design and usability.
- Providing feedback on designs and ensuring alignment with business goals.
- Performing competitive assessments and researching trends.
- Discussing scope and LOE with senior members.
- Mentoring other practitioners, contributing to methodologies, and leading CX meetings.
- Engaging in professional development and industry involvement.
- Providing design oversight and art direction.
Qualifications include:
- 5+ years of experience, ideally in consulting or agency.
- 4+ year degree in design or related field.
- Strong communication skills (written, verbal, conceptual, visual).
- Experience with multiple design domains including user research, product strategy, information architecture, experience design, content strategy, optimization, and customer insight.
- Proficiency in Figma (or comparable tools).
- Proficiency in Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign, as well as PowerPoint.
- Knowledge of Agile product development and accessibility guidelines.
