We seek an experienced UX Designer to join our growing design team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Advance the User Experience: Work autonomously and with the design team lead to improve UX through high-quality designs, delighting users and driving business outcomes.
- Customer-Centric Design: Conduct user research, customer discovery, and multivariate testing to understand the customer journey, identify pain points, and uncover improvement opportunities.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with product design leads, product managers, engineers, and data scientists to design, test, and implement innovative UX solutions.
- Role Specific Job Duties: Participate in and occasionally lead discovery conversations with customers, users, and internal stakeholders. Participate in development teams (as needed), collaborating with product managers and tech leads to design and test solutions.
- Create wireframes, storyboards, sitemaps, and screen flows for new products and features.
- Develop product prototypes at various levels of fidelity.
- Conduct usability testing when needed.
- Design challenges include: implementing new features, improving existing ones, and enhancing the look and cohesiveness of the entire experience.
- Advocate for the user perspective to ensure product coherence and serve user interests.
Required Skills/Experience:
- 4+ years experience in UX/product design in a B2B2C or B2C SaaS company.
- Strong visual and interaction design skills.
- Strong understanding of usability principles and experience applying them.
- Deep empathy for users and passion for translating user needs into elegant, functional experiences.
- Comfort collaborating with engineers for smooth design handoff and implementation.
- Detail-oriented, organized, process-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, presenting to stakeholders clearly and compellingly.
- Strong design portfolio (with web and mobile app examples).
- Self-directed but collaborative, with strong problem-solving and organizational abilities.
- Creativity and attention to detail.
- Experience with key product design tools (e.g., Figma, Adobe CC) and collaboration tools (e.g., Miro, Jira, Confluence, Slack).
Preferred:
- Familiarity with web front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript)
