Vice President of Accreditation and Professional Regulation (APR) is a key leadership role overseeing and managing the organization's accreditation processes.
Responsibilities:
- Ensures compliance with accreditation standards, fosters continuous improvement, and promotes academic excellence across all programs.
- Develops and maintains relationships with key accrediting bodies to advance the organization's interests.
- Serves as the primary spokesperson on accreditation matters, representing the organization to accrediting bodies, regulatory agencies, and the broader organizational community.
- Provides strategic leadership and supervision for the APR team, overseeing colleagues, managing resources, and ensuring efficient operations.
- Leads the university's accreditation efforts, ensuring compliance with accrediting body standards.
- Develops and implements strategies to maintain and enhance accreditation status for all programs.
- Oversees accreditation-related data collection, reporting, and quality assurance, ensuring efficient use of modern data management and AI-driven systems.
- Monitors changes in accreditation standards and ensures timely adjustments to university policies and procedures.
- Provides leadership, supervision, and direction to the APR team, including hiring, training, and performance management.
- Proactively and clearly communicates important accreditation matters to internal leadership.
- Prepares and submits accreditation reports and documentation, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Leads site visit preparations and coordinates with accrediting agencies.
- Provides leadership and guidance on academic policies and program development.
- Fosters a culture of excellence and continuous improvement, integrating innovative technologies into academic and administrative processes.
- Represents the university at conferences, panels, external meetings related to accreditation and higher education policy.
- Supports and leads all efforts to stimulate and advocate for growth of existing and new programs and degrees.
- Coordinates effectively with internal leaders.
Qualifications:
- PhD or Doctoral degree in a relevant field (e.g., education, nursing).
- 10+ years of experience in higher education administration or related field, focusing on accreditation processes.
- 12+ years of strong understanding of accreditation standards and regulatory requirements.
- Superior written and oral communication skills.
- Experience with modern data management and technologies.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Proven ability to work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders.
Compensation: $164,108.58 - $296,747.32 (annual)
