About the Role
The Vice President Business Development expands the current portfolio of accounts and drives the acquisition of new business opportunities across technical, engineering, life sciences, and non-IT service categories.
Day to day responsibilities:
- Lead by example and build strong relationships.
- Manage a healthy P&L with the existing portfolio of accounts within our MSP/VMS space
- Own revenue and growth targets across the portfolio
- Develop an effective sales plan to meet or exceed sales objectives.
- Work with a team of lead generators.
- Identify and fill RFIs and RFPs.
- Conduct regular onsite visits with clients.
- Attend community networking events.
- Monitor customer satisfaction.
- Keep abreast of trends in the industry.
- Perform other duties as assigned
Experience & Skills
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalency
- 15+ years in Sales and Business Development
- 5+ years in MSP/VMS, Direct and SOW-based clients
- Experience sourcing, qualifying, and filling RFI/RFPs
- Experience in building sales automation systems
- Open to travel up to 30-40% of the time
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills
- Leadership skills
- Growth and Development skills
- Must be Tech Savvy
