What You’ll Do:
- Monitor and interpret regulatory changes, advising senior leadership on risks, opportunities, and compliance strategies.
- Establish and maintain relationships with key regulatory agencies, advocating for the organization’s interests.
- Lead compliance initiatives across institutions, ensuring alignment with federal and state financial aid laws.
- Conduct management reviews to assess and enhance regulatory compliance effectiveness.
- Provide regulatory training, fostering a culture of compliance and awareness across the organization.
- Serve as a Subject Matter Expert, guiding teams through complex regulatory questions and challenges.
- Oversee failure investigations and corrective actions, ensuring compliance with industry best practices.
- Represent the organization before regulatory and accreditation agencies.
What You Bring:
- Master’s degree preferred (or equivalent experience).
- 10+ years of progressive leadership experience in regulatory compliance within higher education or a related field.
- Proven track record of developing and executing compliance strategies in a multi-institutional setting.
- Deep understanding of federal and state financial aid laws, accreditation standards, and regulatory frameworks.
- Strong ability to build relationships with regulatory agencies and advocate for institutional interests.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills, with experience mentoring and influencing cross-functional teams.
Salary: $164,108.58 - $296,747.32
