Job Details

This role covers the management, maintenance and support of all Infrastructure Hosting responsibilities within the CUH account. Employees will deliver against a set of responsibilities agreed with Level 3 Technical Services Colleagues.

Successful candidates will have good general troubleshooting skills. They will receive instruction or assistance in technical areas as needed, but will work independently and use their own initiative.

They will be fully aware of company operating procedures and policies.

  1. Support at customer premises: Working with users to resolve hardware and software issues.
  2. Liaising with the customer: Directly resolving issues.
  3. Additional duties: Possible additional responsibilities may arise due to changing circumstances, but won't fundamentally alter the role's character or level of responsibility.

Skills and Experience:

  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft technologies (Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, RDS, File Services, Certificate Services, Server Administration 2008 and above).
  • Good working knowledge of virtual server technologies (e.g., VMware).
  • Understanding of server backup technology.
  • Knowledge of incident, problem, and change management.
  • Proficiency in server patching techniques and toolsets.
  • Demonstrable troubleshooting experience.
  • Working knowledge of general networking (routing, firewall, wireless AP).
  • Understanding of computer infrastructure in a data center environment.
  • Understanding of Microsoft SQL Server.
  • Understanding of Exchange 2016 technologies.
  • Understanding of the Citrix virtualization technology suite.
  • Understanding of Enterprise/Event Management.
