Oncology Sales is a dedicated organization within Guardant Health focused on commercializing the Guardant 360® and Reveal® portfolio.
About the Role: This is an opportunity to join the growing Oncology Sales commercial team as an experienced field-based Account Executive, working closely with sales leadership to drive market strategy and business expansion for oncology healthcare providers.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Drive strategic business expansion with major cancer centers, top oncology practices, KOLs, and AMCs.
- Develop strategic plans for gaining and retaining clients.
- Maximize client-bill contracting and implement LSA's.
- Collaborate with sales positions to achieve company goals.
- Identify and develop partnering opportunities with prospective oncology clients.
- Promote compliance with new web-based molecular information tools.
- Analyze competitive landscape and provide customer feedback.
- Monitor sales performance and develop a comprehensive business plan.
- Work effectively with multiple departments and represent company culture.
Experience Requirements:
- 2-3 years direct account management experience in molecular diagnostics.
- 3-5 years experience with major cancer centers, oncology GPOs, and health systems.
- Demonstrated revenue generation at a diagnostic, pharmaceutical, or biotech company.
- Ability to provide integrated MolDx solutions.
- Ability to engage in consultative selling and communicate effectively at the executive level.
- Understanding of payor and reimbursement environment.
- Strong understanding of molecular diagnostics and competitive landscape.
- Excellent negotiation and customer service skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (especially Excel and PowerPoint) and Salesforce.com.
Education: B.S. in life science, biology, business, or marketing preferred.
Salary: $138,400 to $190,300 (USD) - Full-time
