Job Details

Join the growing Screening and Early Detection commercial team at Guardant Health as a field-based Account Executive.

Essential Duties:

  • Prospect and target healthcare providers for high utilization of SHIELD.
  • Meet or exceed sales goals, maximize promotional budgets, and execute the national sales strategy.
  • Drive strategic business expansion/collaboration with primary care providers.
  • Develop and implement a business plan in line with brand strategy.
  • Identify and partner with national/regional/local laboratories.
  • Initiate and secure lab service agreements, train on specimen collection.
  • Identify marketplace opportunities, share best practices, and communicate strategies.
  • Continuously analyze competitive landscape and provide customer feedback.
  • Structure strategic plans for gaining and retaining clients.
  • Manage implementation of promotional activities.
  • Work effectively with individuals across departments.
  • Collaborate to ensure company goals are met.
  • Represent Guardant Health company culture.
  • Ability to travel daily within assigned territory.
  • Support and comply with company Quality Management System.

Requirements:

  • 4+ years of direct experience in a customer-facing healthcare sales role.
  • Proven closing abilities and performance exceeding expectations.
  • Comfortable communicating, presenting, and selling to healthcare providers.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, listening, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to engage in consultative selling and overcome objections.
  • Outstanding market, customer, distribution, and product knowledge.
  • Excellent negotiation, problem-solving, and customer service skills.
  • Ability to handle sensitive information and maintain confidentiality.
  • Ability to develop cross-functional relationships.
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects, and prioritize.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office and CRM systems (preferably Salesforce/Veeva).
  • Demonstrate Guardant Health values.
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
  • Ability to meet specific doctor office/clinic entry requirements.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with sales/marketing of diagnostic products to primary care providers.
  • Product launch planning and execution experience.
  • Familiarity with primary care practice landscape.
  • High-touch customer service skills.

Salary: $116,000 - $133,000 (USD) per year.
