This is an opportunity to join the growing Screening and Early Detection commercial team at Guardant Health as a field-based Account Executive. Work hand in hand with sales leadership to help set go-to-market sales strategy and launch a revolutionary new technology for cancer screening. The field-based Account Executive - Screening is responsible for effectively promoting cancer screening colorectal cancer (CRC) liquid biopsy to healthcare providers.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Prospect and target healthcare providers for high utilization of SHIELD to screen patients.
- Meet or exceed sales goals and execute national sales strategy.
- Drive strategic business expansion with primary care providers.
- Develop and implement a business plan.
- Identify and partner with national, regional, and local laboratories for phlebotomy draw agreements.
- Initiate and secure lab service draw agreements.
- Identify opportunities in the marketplace and communicate strategies.
- Analyze competitive landscape and provide customer feedback to leadership.
- Structure strategic plans for gaining and retaining clients.
- Manage promotional activities to support sales.
- Work effectively with individuals across multiple departments.
- Collaborate and coordinate with sales team for company goals.
- Uphold company mission and values.
- Support and comply with Quality Management System policies.
Requirements:
- 4+ years of direct experience in a customer-facing sales role in the healthcare industry.
- Consistent closing abilities and proven past performance.
- Comfortable communicating and selling to healthcare providers.
- Impeccable communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to engage in consultative selling.
- Maintain market, customer, distribution, and product knowledge.
- Excellent negotiation, problem-solving, and customer service skills.
- Handle sensitive information and maintain confidentiality.
- Develop and utilize cross-functional relationships.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects, and prioritize tasks.
- Strong administrative skills.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office and CRM systems (preferably Salesforce and Veeva).
- Demonstrate Guardant Health values.
- Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
- Ability to meet doctor office and health clinic entry/access requirements.
- Ability to travel daily.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with sales/marketing of diagnostic products.
- Product launch planning and execution experience.
- Familiarity with the primary care practice landscape.
Salary: $116,000 - $133,000 (USD) (full-time)
