Account Executive, Screening -South Fort Worth
Summary: Join a growing team at Guardant Health and work closely with sales leadership to help set go-to-market strategy and launch new cancer screening technology. Responsible for promoting cancer screening (CRC) liquid biopsy to healthcare providers.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Prospect and target healthcare providers to increase SHIELD utilization for CRC screening.
- Meet sales goals, maximize budget, and execute national strategy.
- Drive business expansion/collaboration with primary care providers.
- Develop & implement a business plan aligned with brand strategy.
- Identify and partner with labs for phlebotomy draw agreements.
- Initiate and secure lab draw agreements & training.
- Identify opportunities, share best practices, and communicate strategies with partners.
- Analyze competitive landscape and provide customer feedback to leadership.
- Structure strategic plans for gaining & retaining clients.
- Manage promotional activities to support sales & marketing strategies.
- Collaborate with multiple departments to ensure company goals are met.
- Represent Guardant Health's culture.
- Travel daily within assigned territory & occasionally for regional/national meetings.
- Uphold company values.
- Comply with Quality Management System policies & procedures.
Qualifications:
- 4+ years healthcare industry (diagnostics, medical device, pharmaceutical sales) experience.
- Proven closing ability and consistent performance exceeding expectations.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and listening skills.
- Ability to use consultative selling to overcome objections and connect client needs with Guardant Health's capabilities.
- Maintain market, customer, distribution, and product knowledge.
- Strong negotiation, problem-solving, and customer service skills.
- High level of confidentiality.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office & CRM systems (Salesforce, Veeva preferred).
- Demonstrate Guardant Health values.
- Valid driver's license & clean driving record.
- Ability to meet doctor office & clinic entry requirements.
- Ability to travel daily throughout territory.
Compensation: US base salary range: $116,000 - $133,000.
Benefits: Range does not include benefits, commission, bonus, or equity. Specific factors, including location, skills, and experience, will determine individual pay.
