Account Executive, Screening Sales (Southeast)
Join the growing Screening and Early Detection commercial team at Guardant Health.
Field-based Account Executive - Screening is responsible for promoting cancer screening (CRC) liquid biopsy to healthcare providers.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Prospect and target healthcare providers for high utilization of SHIELD.
- Meet or exceed sales goals, maximize promotional budgets, execute national sales strategy.
- Drive strategic business expansion/collaboration with primary care providers.
- Develop and implement a business plan in line with brand strategy.
- Identify and partner with national/regional/local laboratories.
- Initiate and secure lab service draw agreements, train specimen collection.
- Identify opportunities, share best practices, and communicate strategies to cross-functional partners.
- Analyze competitive landscape and provide customer feedback to leadership.
- Structure strategic plans for gaining and retaining clients.
- Manage promotional activities to support sales & marketing strategies.
- Work effectively with individuals across multiple departments.
- Collaborate & coordinate with sales team to ensure company goals.
- Represent Guardant Health company culture.
- Travel within assigned territory and regionally.
- Uphold company mission, values through accountability, innovation.
- Support and comply with company's Quality Management System.
Requirements:
- 4+ years direct customer-facing experience in healthcare (diagnostics, medical devices, or pharmaceuticals).
- Consistent closing abilities and proven past performance.
- Comfortable communicating, presenting, and selling to healthcare providers.
- Excellent communication, presentation, listening, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to engage in consultative selling process.
- Maintain market, customer, distribution, and product knowledge.
- Excellent negotiation, problem-solving, and customer service skills.
- Maintain confidentiality.
- Develop and utilize cross-functional relationships.
- Work independently, communicate proactively, manage multiple projects.
- Strong administrative skills to manage business in complex environments.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office products & CRM systems (Salesforce & Veeva).

Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with diagnostic product sales to primary care providers.
- Product launch planning and execution experience.
- Familiarity with primary care practice landscape.
- High-touch customer service skills.
Personal Requirements:
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
- Ability to meet doctor office & health clinic entry requirements.
- Ability to travel daily throughout territory.
Salary: $116,000 - $133,000 (USD) Full-Time
