Account Executive, Screening Sales (Southeast)
Join the growing Screening and Early Detection commercial team at Guardant Health.
Field-based Account Executive - Screening is responsible for promoting cancer screening (CRC) liquid biopsy to healthcare providers.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  1. Prospect and target healthcare providers for high utilization of SHIELD.
  2. Meet or exceed sales goals, maximize promotional budgets, execute national sales strategy.
  3. Drive strategic business expansion/collaboration with primary care providers.
  4. Develop and implement a business plan in line with brand strategy.
  5. Identify and partner with national/regional/local laboratories.
  6. Initiate and secure lab service draw agreements, train specimen collection.
  7. Identify opportunities, share best practices, and communicate strategies to cross-functional partners.
  8. Analyze competitive landscape and provide customer feedback to leadership.
  9. Structure strategic plans for gaining and retaining clients.
  10. Manage promotional activities to support sales & marketing strategies.
  11. Work effectively with individuals across multiple departments.
  12. Collaborate & coordinate with sales team to ensure company goals.
  13. Represent Guardant Health company culture.
  14. Travel within assigned territory and regionally.
  15. Uphold company mission, values through accountability, innovation.
  16. Support and comply with company's Quality Management System.

Requirements:

  • 4+ years direct customer-facing experience in healthcare (diagnostics, medical devices, or pharmaceuticals).
  • Consistent closing abilities and proven past performance.
  • Comfortable communicating, presenting, and selling to healthcare providers.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, listening, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to engage in consultative selling process.
  • Maintain market, customer, distribution, and product knowledge.
  • Excellent negotiation, problem-solving, and customer service skills.
  • Maintain confidentiality.
  • Develop and utilize cross-functional relationships.
  • Work independently, communicate proactively, manage multiple projects.
  • Strong administrative skills to manage business in complex environments.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office products & CRM systems (Salesforce & Veeva).
  • Demonstrate Guardant Health values.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with diagnostic product sales to primary care providers.
  • Product launch planning and execution experience.
  • Familiarity with primary care practice landscape.
  • High-touch customer service skills.

Personal Requirements:

  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
  • Ability to meet doctor office & health clinic entry requirements.
  • Ability to travel daily throughout territory.

Salary: $116,000 - $133,000 (USD) Full-Time
