The Account Manager is responsible for overseeing, planning, and executing sold client promotions, acting as a liaison between clients, sales, and internal operational teams.
Handles multiple custom promotions simultaneously with varying implementation stages and multiple client contacts.
Requires creative input for idea generation, promotion design, and client execution strategies aligned with Fandango Rewards offerings.
- Partner with the sales team to manage program execution.
- Execute program components in internal and external systems.
- Prioritize tasks for promotions in different stages while managing other responsibilities.
- Review client promotion materials, distributing to appropriate departments (production, legal, operations, accounting, network relations) for internal processes.
- Complete initial contracts and facilitate negotiations between client, finance, legal, sales, marketing, and operations.
- Create long-term and short-term plans, setting targets for milestones and adhering to deadlines.
- Understand full user experience of custom promotions and draft copy for deliverables.
- Maintain awareness of each department's responsibilities and facilitate communication.
- Responsible for contact with high-level clients.
- Perform quality control throughout promotion lifecycle to ensure standards are met.
- Make effective decisions when presented with multiple options.
- Use CRM software to monitor programs, contacts, and sales executives.
- Maintain program records accurately.
Qualifications
- 3+ years’ experience in sales support, project management, or event planning.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills, prioritizing multiple projects.
- Ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines.
- Proven experience in client interaction and understanding of national brand needs.
- Effective communication skills (email and telephone).
- Thorough understanding of company products, client base, and procedures.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.
- Ability to exercise discretion and maintain confidentiality.
- Maintain acceptable attendance.
- Prepared to work extended hours, including weekends and holidays during peak periods.
