Lead the national Gaming strategy and performance across ALH Hotels. Drive innovation and optimise gaming operations across procurement, design, and player experience. Champion responsible gaming, stakeholder collaboration, and compliance excellence.
As General Manager – Gaming, you’ll take charge of shaping the future of gaming within our venues. Reporting to the MD Hotels, you’ll lead a high-performing team to deliver a compelling and sustainable gaming offer that resonates with our guests, drives commercial outcomes, and supports a responsible and inclusive approach.
This is a permanent opportunity, with a flexible location across the east coast. Here is a taster of what you can expect in this role:
- Define and deliver ALH’s Gaming Strategy – including digital, in-venue, and social gaming innovation
- Lead national gaming operations and performance, including game selection, machine procurement, and strategic placement
- Partner with our Venue teams to deliver an exceptional guest experience
- Partner with internal teams including Regulatory & Financial Crime, Technology, Commercial, Compliance, and Legal to align gaming operations with wider hotel strategy
- Oversee commercial outcomes and full P&L for the Gaming business
- Lead a talented team, building a high-performance culture through coaching, mentoring, and accountability
- Leverage insights and data to drive category performance and decision-making

- Extensive experience leading Gaming functions across multi-site operations
- Deep understanding of the gambling market and game mechanics
- Proven leadership and coaching capability, driving performance in complex, changing environments
- Strong commercial and financial acumen, with P&L accountability
- Exceptional communication and influencing skills, including managing cross-functional stakeholders
- Passion for innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement
- Current Responsible Service of Liquor and Gaming competency card, relevant to the state you live in
- Experience leading transformation and change initiatives
