As an API Area Manager, you will expand and consolidate presence in the Iberia region, leading the team to meet revenue targets.
- Expand and consolidate presence in the Iberia region.
- Lead team to achieve revenue goals.
- Monitor and analyze team KPIs.
- Acquire key partners (tour operators, TMCs, wholesalers).
- Support team in managing key accounts.
- Recruit and strengthen relationships with business partners.
- Develop team members from hiring to training.
- Participate in developing the division's marketing plan.
- Conduct market research, reporting, analysis, and forecasting using internal tools like Tableau.
Requirements
- Relevant Experience: Minimum 3 years leading sales/account managers, in-depth knowledge of the region's travel market, strong sales background and business development expertise.
- Market Knowledge: Deep understanding of the Spanish travel market, API integrations, tour operators, TMCs, wholesalers. Experience closing technology-driven sales deals.
- Technical Skills: Competence with API technology deals is essential.
- Leadership Skills: Proven ability to manage, motivate, and develop a team.
- Language Knowledge: Fluent Spanish and English. Portuguese is a plus.
- Location: Spain
- Travel Requirements: Up to 30% travel may be required.
- Analytical Skills: Data-driven decision-making, use of KPIs.
