Exciting opportunity for an Area Sales Manager to join our Journals team, based remotely from home in Spain.
A fantastic opportunity for a successful sales manager looking for a new challenge in Southern Europe (Spain, Portugal, Greece) and Belgium.
Key Responsibilities:
- Achieving and exceeding annual territory sales targets.
- Planning, scheduling, and carrying out sales visits to customers.
- Cultivating strong customer relationships.
- Reporting sales progress to the Head of Sales.
- Collecting and disseminating market and customer feedback.
- Preparing for and contributing to sales meetings.
- Liaising with stakeholder departments.
- Increasing T&F influence in the library market.
- Acting as liaison with Product Development.
- Representing the company externally.
Qualifications:
- Significant sales experience with a track record of exceeding targets.
- Excellent knowledge of and experience selling to the higher education market.
- Proven ability to formulate and implement successful sales strategies.
- Knowledge of the academic publishing industry.
- Strong influencing skills and ability to drive results.
- Target-driven approach and sales planning skills.
- Fluent Spanish and English.
