Basic Function: The Area Sales Manager achieves financial goals by implementing sales and marketing strategies to grow test volume and revenue. Responsibilities include expanding business in existing accounts, managing regional sales team members, and securing new accounts.
- Experience: 5+ years direct sales experience required; 1 year territory goal achievement in last 3 years.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in the sciences or business administration.
- Skills:
- Problem-solving, prioritization, and multitasking.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, SF.com, and iPad apps.
- Travel: Ability to travel up to 70%.
