Job Details

Join the growing Screening and Early Detection commercial team at Guardant Health as a field-based Associate Account Executive.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Prospect and target healthcare providers for high utilization of SHIELD to screen patients for CRC and other cancers.
  • Meet or exceed sales goals and maximize promotional budgets.
  • Seek out strategic business expansion/collaboration opportunities.
  • Develop and implement a business plan in line with brand strategy.
  • Identify and partner with laboratories.
  • Identify opportunities and share best practices.
  • Analyze competitive landscape and provide customer feedback.
  • Recommend strategic plans for gaining and retaining clients.
  • Manage promotional activities to support sales and marketing strategies.
  • Work effectively with individuals across multiple departments.
  • Collaborate and coordinate with sales team.
  • Represent Guardant Health values.
  • Field-based role – must be able to travel daily.
  • Uphold company mission and values.
  • Support and comply with Quality Management System.

Requirements:

  • 2+ years’ experience in a customer-facing field-based sales role (preferably in healthcare).
  • Solid history of consistent closing abilities.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to engage in a consultative selling process.
  • Excellent negotiation, problem-solving, and customer service skills.
  • Ability to handle sensitive information.
  • Demonstrate ability to develop cross-functional relationships.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects.
  • Strong administrative skills.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office products & CRM systems (preferably Salesforce and Veeva).
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
  • Ability to travel daily.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Experience with sales/marketing of diagnostic products, product launch experience, and familiarity with primary care practice landscape in territory.
  • Personal Requirements: Meet specific doctor office and health clinic entry/access requirements.

Compensation: US base salary range: $96,000 to $105,000.
