About this Job
This role leads sales engagements of NielsenIQ’s Marketing Mix solutions across assigned accounts. Focus on maintaining/growing clients and acquiring new business via client relationships and closing deals. Expand Marketing Mix solutions by being a consultative seller. Collaborates with Solution Architects, Client Business Partners, Account Development leads, and delivery teams throughout the sales cycle. As an individual contributor, drives deals to successful outcomes across complex sales phases, generates new product ideas, and brings the voice of the customer back to product management.
Responsibilities
- Develop relationships to sell our analytics solutions within your assigned accounts
- Use consultative/challenger selling skills to identify client business needs, qualify, probe, scope and sell in NielsenIQ advanced analytics services.
- Achieve an annual Revenue/Sales target
- Attend a few annual conferences/tradeshow
- Self-start and proactively prospect within your assigned accounts to drive initial purchases
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Manage sales pipeline reporting and proper CRM hygiene with excellence
- Become proficient in NielsenIQ Marketing Mix solutions, systems, and software tools
- Develop Account Plans and initiatives to drive growth within your assigned accounts and vertical
- Representing voice of customer to internal product development, product marketing, communications, and delivery teams
- Uncover and disseminate retailer, manufacturer, and competitive intelligence
- Work highly collaboratively with other cross functional NIQ partners
- Contribute to assigned projects as needed
A little bit about you
Passionate, client-focused salesperson with urgency and accountability. Able to tell a story that captures the audience and work collaboratively in a dynamic environment while maintaining high standards.
- Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree favored
- 5-8 years’ consultative selling (full-cycle) experience within market research, CPG, and/or media agencies
- Previous experience selling data/analytics, marketing mix modeling, choice modeling/Conjoint to CPG manufacturers and/or media agencies preferred
- Ability to translate data knowledge into tactical and strategic solution frameworks; advanced data analytic sales preferred
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to travel up to 25%
