About the Role
Roo is seeking an ambitious Business Development Manager to drive market expansion and operational excellence. The BDM will identify new acquisition opportunities, support strategic initiatives, and develop sales tactics to enhance market growth and stability.
Your Responsibilities
- Develop and execute strategic plans for new user growth within your territory.
- Attract and onboard new veterinarians to the Roo platform through proactive outreach and development activities.
- Lead and coordinate user recruitment events in partnership with the marketing team.
- Create quarterly sales plans aligned with functional and company-level objectives, and track relevant metrics internally.
About You
- 3+ years successful field/remote sales experience; Veterinary healthcare or start-up experience a plus
- Bachelor's degree in a related field (Business/Sales) preferred
- Demonstrated success in prospecting, pre-call planning, and deal closure.
Located within or near the Mid-Atlantic corridor (DC, Baltimore, VA Beach, Richmond) or able to operate successfully in those markets.
