- Maintain extensive knowledge of current market evolutions and conditions
- Actively network to establish key relationships and to identify new opportunities in the biopharmaceutical and vaccine, cell & gene industry
- Build strong relationships with the internal functional departments and maintain in depth knowledge of their services in order to support lateral business opportunities
- Represent customer needs to internal functional departments and follow up the proposals/quotes & contract development process
- Negotiate and close business deals. Develop and maintain business development databases.
Minimum Master or Ingenior degree in a life science or related field
Having 2 to 3 years sales experience in the biotechnology or CRO or CTO or CMO field is a plus / Education in microbiology / virology is a plus
Good oral and written communication skills in French and in English ---French: nice to have, not a must
Excellent interpersonal skills
Ability to represent SGS professionally at all times
Proven ability to manage time and prioritize activity
Outstanding interpersonal skills
Excellent communication and negotiation skills
Pro-active and result oriented team player
Willingness to travel
