Our client is seeking a talented Business Development Manager with a proven track record of sales experience in the Energy & Utilities vertical market and building long-term client relationships.
- Develop strategies, action plans, and relationships with key vendors and channel partners.
- Call upon all potential specifiers, influencers, and decision-makers and deliver presentations.
- Manage the entire sales process from initial contact through proposal of business solution.
- Coordinate internal and external resources to track and close deals.
- Engage with city engineers to help spec and identify upcoming projects.
- Focus on Energy bid boards to capture all projects.
- Travel up to 50% in covered territory.
- 5+ years major account sales experience
- 3-5+ years Energy / Utility vertical market experience
- Trained in Consultative Selling techniques
- Demonstrated experience in selling technology solutions
- Proven ability to design a sales campaign
