Full-Time Business Development Manager - Remote

The Business Development Manager provides support for M&A, licensing, and partnering activities. This includes: origination of targets, scoping potential collaborations, building relationships with partner companies, and leading integration post-agreement closure.

Key responsibilities include:

1. Originating/initiating contact and scoping potential collaborations with target partners.
2. Tracking progress towards strategic targets and managing relationships with key contacts.
3. Project management and facilitation of strategic projects.
4. Supporting the development of internal business case models and proposals.
5. Partnering with Portfolio Management to identify growth opportunities.
6. Identifying alternative business models (licensing, JV, etc.) for growth.
7. Identifying technology for in-sourcing/licensing opportunities.
8. Providing support on market landscape assessments.
9. Supporting global strategy implementation as needed.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in molecular biology or a life science discipline (or equivalent)
• Master's degree preferred
• 8+ years demonstrated commercial experience in life sciences/diagnostics
• Experience evaluating and implementing business transactions
• Strong understanding of financial modeling
• Ability to travel nationally and internationally (up to 50%)
