Job Details

The role is responsible for overseeing the organization, planning, and growth of TDC's franchisee and affiliate business across Canada, excluding Quebec.
  • Managing contracts and processing renewals, while enforcing network standards, conditions, and brand compliance.
  • Supporting members by helping them maximize preferred partner sales and agency profits.
  • Prospecting new members through cold calls and securing appointments to present TDC’s value proposition.
  • Serving as the primary communication link between the network and its members.
Responsibilities:
  • Managing contracts and administrative documents for franchisees and affiliates.
  • Retaining franchisees and affiliates through strong relationship management.
  • Providing operational and business support.
  • Prospecting and securing appointments to assist in growing the network and meeting growth targets.
  • Helping new members integrate into the network.
  • Providing customer service and assisting members in supplier situations.
  • Conducting strategic consultations to help improve financial strength.
  • Analyzing sales performance.
  • Hosting virtual conference calls for advisors and agency owners.
  • Facilitating network development.
  • Canvassing new agencies.
  • Participating in training trips and attending conferences.
  • Promoting programs offered by TDC and ensuring member engagement.
  • Communicating with members and increasing TDC’s visibility.
  • Staying aware of industry issues.
Requirements:
  • 3 to 5 years of relevant experience (travel agency management an asset or tour operator BDM).
  • Knowledge of the expedited travel industry.
  • Sales and negotiation skills including prospecting and willingness to do cold calls.
  • Excellent presentation skills.
  • Understanding of the issues of a travel agency owner.
  • Strong customer service skills.
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Excellent organization skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to meet tight deadlines.
  • Ability to deal with change.
  • Effective use of the Microsoft 365 Suite.
  • Willingness to travel within Canada (25%) and outside the country (approximately 10%).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
