Job Details
The role is responsible for overseeing the organization, planning, and growth of TDC's franchisee and affiliate business across Canada, excluding Quebec.
- Managing contracts and processing renewals, while enforcing network standards, conditions, and brand compliance.
- Supporting members by helping them maximize preferred partner sales and agency profits.
- Prospecting new members through cold calls and securing appointments to present TDC’s value proposition.
- Serving as the primary communication link between the network and its members.
Responsibilities:
- Managing contracts and administrative documents for franchisees and affiliates.
- Retaining franchisees and affiliates through strong relationship management.
- Providing operational and business support.
- Prospecting and securing appointments to assist in growing the network and meeting growth targets.
- Helping new members integrate into the network.
- Providing customer service and assisting members in supplier situations.
- Conducting strategic consultations to help improve financial strength.
- Analyzing sales performance.
- Hosting virtual conference calls for advisors and agency owners.
- Facilitating network development.
- Canvassing new agencies.
- Participating in training trips and attending conferences.
- Promoting programs offered by TDC and ensuring member engagement.
- Communicating with members and increasing TDC’s visibility.
- Staying aware of industry issues.
Requirements:
- 3 to 5 years of relevant experience (travel agency management an asset or tour operator BDM).
- Knowledge of the expedited travel industry.
- Sales and negotiation skills including prospecting and willingness to do cold calls.
- Excellent presentation skills.
- Understanding of the issues of a travel agency owner.
- Strong customer service skills.
- Critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Excellent organization skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to meet tight deadlines.
- Ability to deal with change.
- Effective use of the Microsoft 365 Suite.
- Willingness to travel within Canada (25%) and outside the country (approximately 10%).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
