Job Details
The Business Sales Manager is responsible for managing customers within Packaging Distribution. They handle strategic accounts and business acquisition across all channels. They execute short and mid-term business strategies according to the account plan.
Responsibilities:
- Create and execute the account plan.
- Manage requests for pricing and contracts.
- Monitor the customer's financial situation.
- Adapt the mix of products to the needs of the market.
- Monitor the activities of the competition.
- Define and negotiate prices.
- Identify opportunities for commercial investments.
- Identify projects to convert packaging materials to glass.
- Maintain payment terms.
- Educate product management, marketing, and manufacturing on customer needs.
- Prospect, qualify, and land new customers.
Skills and Experience:
- Lead adjustments.
- Monitor competition.
- Achieving sales volumes.
- Analyzing and validating sales forecasts.
- Generating plans for penetration into mid-level accounts.
- Generating, developing, and closing sales opportunities.
- Developing presentations to resolve customer issues.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business or equivalent.
- 15+ years of Sales and/or Marketing experience.
- Key Account Management Programs experience.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office and PC skills.
- Strong analytical, decision making and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and within a team.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Self-motivated and self-disciplined.
