Channel Partnership Manager

Leafio, part of the Montu ecosystem, works directly with thousands of pharmacies to provide alternative healthcare brands.

Role Overview

  • Develop and implement comprehensive channel strategies for maximum revenue and market share.
  • Analyze market trends and competitor activity to optimize channel partner portfolio.
  • Manage day-to-day supplier operations, including range optimization, pricing, reporting, and supplier relationships.
  • Ensure alignment between wholesale partner strategies and Montu’s objectives.
  • Develop and nurture partnerships with supply groups and key stakeholders to drive business growth.
  • Negotiate contracts and partnership agreements to ensure mutual benefit.
  • Monitor and analyze channel partner performance using KPIs and analytics to drive improvements.
  • Track and analyze financial performance, including forecasting, gross margins, and budget management.
  • Provide regular performance reports to senior management.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (marketing, sales, product) to align product offerings and promotional activities.
  • Gather and analyze market intelligence to inform strategic decision-making.
  • Ensure compliance with pharmaceutical industry regulations (TGA).
  • Build and lead a high-performing team, providing clear leadership and support.
  • Mentor and coach team members for growth and empowerment.
  • Delegate responsibilities effectively to achieve team and departmental goals.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, Pharmacy, or related field. MBA preferred.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in channel management, sales, or business development in the pharmaceutical or wholesale distribution sector.
  • Proven track record in managing and growing wholesale partnerships.
  • Strong negotiation, relationship-building, and interpersonal skills.
  • Analytical skills and data analysis capability.
  • Strong communication skills (written and verbal).
  • Knowledge of the pharmaceutical industry and regulatory standards.
