Channel Partnership Manager
Leafio, part of the Montu ecosystem, works directly with thousands of pharmacies to provide alternative healthcare brands.
Role Overview
- Develop and implement comprehensive channel strategies for maximum revenue and market share.
- Analyze market trends and competitor activity to optimize channel partner portfolio.
- Manage day-to-day supplier operations, including range optimization, pricing, reporting, and supplier relationships.
- Ensure alignment between wholesale partner strategies and Montu’s objectives.
- Develop and nurture partnerships with supply groups and key stakeholders to drive business growth.
- Negotiate contracts and partnership agreements to ensure mutual benefit.
- Monitor and analyze channel partner performance using KPIs and analytics to drive improvements.
- Track and analyze financial performance, including forecasting, gross margins, and budget management.
- Provide regular performance reports to senior management.
- Collaborate with internal teams (marketing, sales, product) to align product offerings and promotional activities.
- Gather and analyze market intelligence to inform strategic decision-making.
- Ensure compliance with pharmaceutical industry regulations (TGA).
- Build and lead a high-performing team, providing clear leadership and support.
- Mentor and coach team members for growth and empowerment.
- Delegate responsibilities effectively to achieve team and departmental goals.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, Pharmacy, or related field. MBA preferred.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in channel management, sales, or business development in the pharmaceutical or wholesale distribution sector.
- Proven track record in managing and growing wholesale partnerships.
- Strong negotiation, relationship-building, and interpersonal skills.
- Analytical skills and data analysis capability.
- Strong communication skills (written and verbal).
- Knowledge of the pharmaceutical industry and regulatory standards.
